CHANGE YOUR BODY.
CHANGE YOUR MIND.
ONE CLASS AT A TIME.
@ Studio Y
What Makes Bikram Yoga Different?
What makes Bikram Yoga
different?

Bikram Yoga Beginners class is THE ORIGINAL HOT YOGA and is practiced in a room heated to 105 degrees with 40% humidity.
We perform 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises in each 90 minute class.

Heat and Humidity
Improved flexibility and detoxification through sweating. The muscles are more pliable and the heat enhances cardiovascular activity, which helps to burn more calories and improve overall physical fitness
26 Postures and 2 Breathing Exercises
The sequence works systematically and synergistically to stimulate every part of the body, including internal organs, glands, and nerves, and improve overall health and wellbeing. The repetitive nature of the practice allows students to track their progress and see improvements in strength, flexibility, and overall health over time
Mirrors
Mirrors are used to help students properly align and adjust their postures. By viewing themselves in the mirror, they can see where they may need to make adjustments to achieve the correct alignment and improve their practice. Additionally, the mirror can also serve as a focal point to stay present and focused on their movements and breath
Carpet
The carpet provides traction and helps prevent slips and injuries while practicing yoga. It also helps absorb sweat, preventing it from puddling on the floor, which promotes hygiene in the studio. A cushioned surface for students to stand, sit and lie down on, making the practice more comfortable for students
Systematic
Bikram Yoga systematically works every part of the body, to give all the internal organs, all the veins, all the ligaments, and all the muscles everything they need to maintain optimum health and maximum function.

All over the world, millions of yogis have experienced the positive and far-reaching effects of Bikram Yoga including: increased range of motion, sharper focus, and even reversed physical and mental effects of aging.
